Admins or Administrators

(regonisable by their blue names and this:

instead of pips) The administrators are the guys who keep things running. They sort out the more serious forum problems, introduce new features, change usernames and cause the board to collapse every now and again. They are:

Board owner and system admin:

Chris J
Hey, I'm Chris, the creator of all things Back to the Bay. I started this place as a Neighbours website/forum about 5 years ago, and after many, many, many changes, it's become the Home and Away website/forum you've come to know (and love?) today.

I'm not too active on the forum these days, as I tend to hide away in the secret forums sorting everything out backstage. You try looking after 11 mods - their constant demands don't leave me much free time. It doesn't help that I haven't watched Home and Away in about 2 years, so I can't join in with the discussion. Yes, that does make me a rather strange choice for the owner of a Home and Away website.

Main Site admin:

Dan F
Hey there! I'm Danial but everyone spells it wrong so just call me Dan! I'm currently 22 years old and live in rural Nottinghamshire, England. I first happened upon a version of this site back in around 2003 when I contributed an account of my trip to LA with the cast to Jeremai's "H&A Source" - after many site changes and gradually working through the ranks I became one of the scary Admins.

I graduated in 2007 with a BA Hons degree in Media Production at the University of Lincoln, and very soon I'll be moving off into the big bad TV/Film Industry where I'll hopefully be specialising in Camera Operating. I've already made a couple of films and documentaries that have generated interest from TV industry professionals, one of which was nominted for an RTS Award, which will hopefully put me in good stead for making my way into the industry.

BTTB has brought some great experiences for me, most notably the honour of speaking to and meeting many cast and crew members, becoming an honorary member of Summer Bay's Surf Club, and also making loads of new friends both on and off the forum!

Moderators

(recognisable by their green names and this:

Our team of moderators are here to make the board run smoothly, by deleting offensive posts, dealing with troublesome members, and generally keeping things friendly. They are:

Andy
Andy hasn't written anything yet! If you see him, give him a poke in this direction!

Cal
My name is Cal.

I'm 16 and I live on the West Coast of Ireland, nothing to exciting happens there. Very very boring...

I'm a student at the moment and I will be doing my big exams next year. I'm hoping to go to Art College when I leave school, not sure if I'll get the points. I will hopefully travel soon. Maybe to Canada and to all the cold countries. Might have to go to Whistler and try the snowboarding!
I like to spend my time watching cool TV shows like Supernatural, The X-Files and The Tribe. My favourite movie would be...The Nightmare Before Christmas. Oh, and I love Photoshop!

Dean
My Name is Dean, most people call me Dean, except if your Andy, Drew, or Holly, in which Deannny is acceptable. I'm 15 years(almost 16) of age but I have been on BTTB for a while, nearly 4 years now and live about an hour north of Sydney Australia. I am a Crew Chief at McDonalds, and according to my mates I live there (I'm not addicted to it, I swear). I'm interested in Football (Rugby League) and Japanese (konnichi wa). If anyone needs any help whatsoever please don't feel scared or nothing just drop us a line by PM.

Eli

Hi, I'm Eli (in my case that's a girl's name), I'm 17 and from a medium-sized town in Norway. I've been a member on BTTB since mid 2006 and before I became a moderator I used to be a librarian.
I'm in high school, majoring in English and Culture&Communication, and after high school I hope to study TV and film production as I love to write and tell stories. I also work part time at a local newspaper, I love discussion related to politics, I like to draw and I play volleyball. Other than that I spend most of my time online, unless I'm sleeping (I love my bed) or spend time with my friends.

I try to reply to all PMs I get as soon as possible, and under normal circumstances you can expect a reply from me within 48 hours (usually a lot less). I also try to help out Norwegian, Danish and Swedish members who find English a bit difficult, so if you're Scandinavian and need help understanding something I'm your woman :)

Foxy

Hello! I'm Nick (or Foxy, an abbreviation of a previous username, not an overinflated sense of attractiveness!), I'm 20 and I'm from Canterbury in the UK, the place with the archbishop! I've been a lifelong fan of Home and Away, remembering scenes vividly from when I was only 4 years old, and have been on this forum since 2004. I'm currently undertaking a Drama degree, with hopes to progress further into the industry in some way. In my spare time, I'm a keen dancer, film watcher, book reader, IM-er and reliver of "the good old days" of quality British kids TV and sitcoms. I'm unashamedly opinionated, but don't let that put you off - my bark is far worse than my bite and I'll gladly welcome any queries you might have via PM and endeavour to answer as quickly as possible!

Mez83
I'm Meredith. I'm 24 and I've been a member of the forum since 2005. I lurked for a good while before I posted though. I live in New Zealand and I'm engaged to Joe (Ugmo) so I'm in wedding planner mode at the moment! We have 2 kids who are actually kittens named Nala and Gizmo. They certainly keep us on our toes. I spend what little free time I have reading and watching movies!

Si-Co
Hi there! My name's Simon, but most people call me Si or Si-Co (an old nickname I used to use when DJing!). I'm one of the older members of the moderating team (in fact I think I am the oldest - at 36!) but don't let that put you off. I love a good laugh and a bit of infantile regression now and then! Just read the old BTTB BB threads and you'll see! I've been a member here since June 04, and a moderator since June 06. Like Liz, I'm pedantic about punctuation and grammar, but won't be too hard on you as long as you try your best! Always happy to help with anything - just drop me a PM!

Stay well behaved and you shouldn't have to deal with them. tongue.gif If for some reason you do have to deal with them, please remember that their decision is final.
