We only add new moderators, contributors and librarians to our team when we really need to, and who we choose is a decision that requires a lot of thought.
We base our decision on the quality of the member's posts, their knowledge of the forum, their maturity and how often they are online, as well as number of other factors.
Simply put, you cannot request to be a moderator. You can only become one if we ask you. If you request to be one, you may even lower your chances. Just sit back and enjoy the forum, and be glad you don't have the stress and worry of having to take care of over 10,000 members. So, please do not hint at wanting to be a staff member, or ask about vacancies.
