When reading a topic you will notice to the left a box:
<Like that, at the top is the member's name. Then a userpic or an avatar.
Under the avatar, most people have something there, in my case its about screencaptures. To have something under your avatar go to control panel>>>> edit profile information. Type what you want in the first box. (This option is only available when you have a minimum of 500 posts. Until then you're stuck with the board set ones).
Under this there are little boxes on most members profiles, to get one box you have to have 10 posts. The more you post the more boxes or pips you get.
Please don't post just for the sake of increasing the number of pips under your name as it is looked on as spamming and you may get into trouble with the moderators for it.
You may notice some members have got other things instead of pips there, this is explained further down.
Under there is their group eg. Member and then the date they joined along with their location. And finally their member number and favourite soap opera, most of this can be edited in your control panel.
